Choice Time Center Activities - Literacy

Some of our Literacy Games and Activities

Each day the children choose a math or literacy game/activity to do with a buddy.  On Mondays and Thursdays, we do some teacher-led math and literacy activities and I pick the buddies.  The children enjoy working in pairs and small groups on their early literacy and math skills.

Leo the Lion

Leo the Lion

We have half of our Leo the Lion book finished.  He has been enjoying many visits to everyone's home's.  He is taking a little break and a few  baths (washing machine) since there has been a lot of sickness.  Leo the Lion will resume visits after vacation for those children who have been eagerly awaiting his visits to their homes.

Our Leo the Lion Song

Leo the Lion is the King of the Jungle and his jaws are big and wide.

Leo the Lion when he roars it's a warning that you better run a way and hide.
