We had follow-up "GoogleHangout" with Mrs. Becotte's Class from the Marsh School in Methuen. We talked about the global readaloud book we read (My Heart Fills with Happiness by Monique Gray Smith and Julie Flett) and we shared what fills our hearts with happiness. It was so fun meeting Mrs. Becotte's Kindergarten Class. We also learned a new word when we read the book. Bannock is a type of bread. Alex said he tried it and didn't like it, but his dad loves it.

Our Kindergarten Class visited Mrs. Kollia's class to practice reading our sight word books and we went on a picture walk with a Halloween book. Mason and Jeremy both have brothers in Mrs. Kollias' class.
Today we participated in a "google hangout" with Mrs. Becotte's Kindergarten Class from the Marsh School in Methuen, MA. She is a close friend from college who was in my wedding. The kids got a kick out of the picture I showed them. It was fun to meet Mrs. Becotte's Class today.
We will participate in another google hangout next Tuesday to discuss the book we read and share the things that make our hearts happy.
Drew's Sister, Ellie made an unbelievable Fairy Ballet of Sleeping Beauty that is being showcased in front of Steward School. We just happened to pass by on a Fall Walk we were taking.
