Inspire Science - Energy and the Sun

We took our thermometers out yesterday to see how the sun would affect soil, sand, water and rocks.  The sun was hidden behind the clouds some of the time so none of these items heated up.  The termometers started out at 20 degrees Then the water and sand went down to 18 degrees and the rocks and soil stayed at 20 degrees.  We put them on our window sill to see if anything changes this month.

Science - Planting seeds

We planting seeds last week with Ms. Grace and Mrs. Sabatini in our hallway using our planting cart.  Mrs. Casagrande and Mrs. Gouzie's classes also joined us.  We do not know what kind of seeds we planted yet as it will be a surprise.  We are observing regularly to see the changes.

We recorded what our seed looked like in our plant journal and took turns planting with Ms. Grace and Mrs. Sabatini.

This week, we observed all the kindergarten plants and noticed a lot of changes.  We recorded in our plant journal.  So exciting!
