Our newest Science Unit is "Living Things".
We have been observing daffodils and illustrating these observations on different days. 1 of them stayed in the sun on the window sill and we put one in the closet with no sun. The one in the sun grew taller, grew some more bulbs, the soil got very dry, and the flowers wilted. The one with no sun in the closet did not grow taller , the flowers wilted, and the soil stayed wet in the closet. Ask your child about their observations. We asked Mrs. Willa if we could plant them to see if we could revive the flowers. We did so in the front of the office. We used a silly tool because we didn't have a small garden shovel (claw of a hammer....Thanks Mr. Glenn!) We will let you know what happens.
