Science - shaving cream rain clouds

We water in clear cups, added shaving cream and then took droppers of blue water to put on top.  The blue droplets slowly made its way through the shaving cream cloud and into the water (air).
So Fun!!

Saved a few overnight to see what would happen.

Take a listen to the fun water cycle song below.

Rainy Day Fun

We explored the playground last week after we had a lot of rain and found lots of flooding.  Thanks so much for remembering rain boots.  It was a lot of fiun to walk through the puddles.

The rain made a little river by the big trees.

We found a toad on the sidewalk.  He was a jumper, but then stayed very still for quite a while.

Leaf Man

We read Leaf Man by Lois Elhert outside today and went to find some Fall items to make our own Leaf creation.

The recycle truck came when we were finishing up our excursion.  It was fun to see the process!

Mat Man with Ms. Comeau

Miss Comeau, our occupational therapist assistant at Steward, came to do the Mat Man activity with us today.  We worked on adding details to our drawings.  Thanks so much to Miss Comeau!!

Fundations Letter Writing Game

We wrote our fundation letters on our buddies backs and tried to guess which letter they wrote.  This is a fun game to try at home and reinforce writing the fundation way.

Science - Plant Journaling

Lots of changes with our Kindergarten plants.

Ask your child about their observations.
