Dr. Seuss Day

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!

Ms Duchak made the adorable Lorax for our door and the children made these colorful truffula trees during art class.  We've already had many comments on our beautiful truffula trees.

Our Guest reader today was The Topsfield Children's Librarian, Miss Lindsey.  She read the Dr. Seuss Story, My Many Colored Days.  We learned that Dr. Seuss wrote the story, but did not illustrate this book this time (which is unusual).  The illustrations look very different from his other books because they don't have any of the characters that he ususally has in his books.

Miss Lindsey invited everyone to come visit her soon!

Thank you Miss Lindsey!!
